Studio Policies

Classes
Class Minimums: All classes are subject to a student minimums which are determined by instructors, and therefore may vary from class to class. Refer to the details on the class calendar to see what the minimum is for your particular class. If a class does not meet its minimum 24 hours before the class, the class will be canceled. If you have registered for a class that has been canceled, we will notify you the day before the class.
 
Registration: Because we have student minimums for our classes, a registration form must be completed and payment must be secured before attending a class. Registration can be done over the phone, mailed in, or in person at the studio. We do not recommend dropping in for a class without first calling to confirm the class has met its minimum.  
 
Cancellation: If a class that you are registered for is canceled, we will notify you the day before. At that point you will be offered a full refund for the class or the opportunity to keep a store credit to use it towards a future class. If you need to cancel your registration for a class, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to get a refund.
 
 
Camps 
Registration: Please complete a registration form for each camper. Forms for each camp can be found on each individual camp page on our web site or at the studio, and must be turned in before registrants may participate.
 
Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration; we can process credit card transactions over the phone or in the studio.
 
Late Registration Policy: There is a $25 late camp registration fee for any registration received within 24 hours of the camp session.
 
Cancellation policy:
If cancellation is received 7 days prior to the start of the session your payment will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received within 3 days of the session are not eligible for a refund.
   
 
Kids' Birthday Parties

Preschoolers: Our parties are designed for kids age 5 and older. We will occasionally plan a party for a younger child, but it is on a case by case basis. There is an additional $25 fee for parties for children under the age of 5 which covers additional staff.
 
Party Duration: Parties are 1.5 hours long. This includes approximately 1 hour for the activity and 20-30 minutes for cake and presents. If your party runs over the allotted time, you will be charged a prorated fee of $25 per hour.
 
Guest Minimum: There is an 8 guest minimum and we ask for a confirmed number 24 hours in advance of the party. If you do not meet the 8 guest minimum, you will still be charged for 8 guests. We cannot package projects to take home, but siblings and parents are welcome to do projects.
 
Deposit:
A $50 deposit is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due the day of the party. If you cancel or reschedule your party and do not give us notice at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled party time, you will forfeit your $50 deposit. As long as you give us more than 48 hours notice, we can process a full refund or reschedule a party with no penalty.
 
After Hour Parties: Designated party times are Saturdays 10:30AM-12:00PM, 1:00-2:30PM, or 3:30-5:00PM; Sundays 11:30AM-1:00PM or 2:00-3:30PM; or weekdays during walk-in hours. After-hour parties can be scheduled, and are subject to an additional $25 per hour fee.
 
 
Groups or Adult Parties

Groups of 8 or less:
Small groups can follow our regular open-seating policy. If you prefer to have a table reserved for you, you can reserve your spot with a credit card. A $50 fee will only be charged to your account if your group doesn’t show up or cancels less than 48 hours before your party.

Groups of 8 or more:
You must reserve your spot with a credit card to insure a designated space for a large group. A $50 fee will only be charged to your account if your group doesn’t show up or cancels less than 48 hours before your party.

Gift Certificates / Coupons
Gift Certificates and coupons are not returnable or redeemable for any cash value.
 
Coupon use is limited to one per person per project. They cannot be combined with any other discounts, coupons, or special offers.

 

Walk-In Projects

Our regular walk in projects are priced by the project. We do not charge for studio time, and therefore you are more than welcome to come back as many times as you need to finish a project. When you take advantage of this option, though, unfinished projects must be taken home and not left in the studio. Any projects left here for more than 7 days will get donated or thrown away.
