About The Blue Room Art Gallery

Named after the prolific “blue periods” of famous artists like Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet, The Blue Room Art Gallery was created to celebrate independent local artists. Though Picasso and Monet’s “blue” artworks blossomed out of times of great hardships for the artists, these periods became the most prolific of their career. Paintings such as Water Lilies and Old Man with Guitar are almost synonymous with the names Monet or Picasso. In the same light,The Blue Room Art Gallery is a tribute to Austin-area artists who continue to pursue their passion even in an economic downfall, and to loyal customers who still pledge to buy handmade.

marmaladeskies is proud to provide this unique, creative venue for painters, sculptors, and all varieties of artists to display their work. The first weekend of every month we will introduce a new artist and display their work at a monthly art show. Our next art show will be April 10th. We hope you will come and meet the artists, talk to them about the inspiration behind their work, and continue to support art in Austin.

This Summer The Blue Room Gallery is featuring artwork from junior artists of Austin! Visit us every Friday this summer from 1:30-2:00PM and get a guided tour through the kid made, kid designed exhibition courtesy of Marmalade Skies Campers!

Please contact us if you'd like to display your work in The Blue Room Art Gallery.
